e client owns a property in Malawi, initially a restaurant, and envisions transforming it into a versatile space for work, meetings, and leisure. The property features gardens supplying fresh produce, a self-pick shop, and appeals to cyclists, runners, and hikers with on-site routes. To enhance its multi-purpose appeal, the client desires a Cape Town and Winelands theme, utilizing primarily local Malawi materials.

In the design process for "The Farmers Daughter" restaurant, we prioritized sustainability and reusability. We integrated various eco-friendly alternatives to maintain an upscale dining experience. Locally sourced materials like natural finish timbers, linen, and cotton create an organic ambiance. Vintage-inspired fittings, alongside industrial elements like dark tiling and metal detailing, contribute to a harmonious yet contrasting design. The strategic use of light and dark colors guides customers through the space, emphasizing specific areas and ensuring a functional flow. To achieve the Cape Town feel, we painted the facade white, adorned the patio with bougainvilleas, and incorporated a mural of Cape Town's vineyards.
