Skin Care Clinic

The Hillcrest Medicross is expanding to introduce the [Skin Aesthetic] Clinic, offering cosmetic dermatology services to enhance personal appearance. The clinic will have a scientific and clinical atmosphere with a touch of fragility. The task is to design a healing skin-care clinic that achieves a minimum five-star GBSCA Interior Tool rating.

The clinic will have a staff of 10, including the dermatologist. The entrance, located on the ground floor, will feature an open-plan reception, a waiting area for eight, a juice bar, and the Skin Care Bar. Additionally, the ground floor will house the dermatologist's consulting suite. The first floor will accommodate five therapy rooms, a waiting area for four to six individuals, and a clinical sundries storeroom. Ablutions are required on both levels, adhering to SANS 10400 regulations, with all plumbing connected to existing drainage.

The green rating tool necessitates sourcing local materials within a 50km radius. The building is situated on the corner of Old Main Road and Nqutu Road, Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal.
